An abstract figuration.
Aqueous dispersion acrylic on canvas
18 x 60 x 4.8cm
Summer 2004

A fairly quirky totem like creature/construction. Reminded me of a dream about fields of crystals being farmed on the moon by cosmic space gypsies. BTW, you don\\\'t need space suits on the moon provided you stay within 10 metres of a building capable of generating its own atmosphere.

You would be forgiven for thinking the dark background looks dirty. It is infact evenly coloured using a fairly impasto acrylic paint, reminiscent of tar or waterproof paint for sheds. What appears as dirt is just light reflecting off the texture.
