The three main audio files, ( beta, rc1, and 1.0) are
named similarly to releases of software, where beta
is a preliminary working version, RC1 is the first Release
Candidate for the first stable release, and 1.0 is the
first proper release of the project as a mature/stable
piece of software.

The three tracks only reference these naming conventions,
they are not indicative of a progression of 'quality'
of a single piece. The three tracks are infact entirely
different pieces of audio.

1) beta: this is a stomping 'dance music' influenced,
   minimal track.

2) rc1: this is a more electronic beats/breaks FX
   laden track.

3) 1.0: this is a close as I dare to go to pure noise.

There are two supplimental tracks, (4 & 5) named README
and TODO. Again these are named after files commonly
included with the source code of a program.

The two supplimental tracks are styled differently
to the three main tracks, are much shorter and less
complex, more like 'sketches'.

str_frag-1.0 is as it were, the culmination of the str_frag 'concept', 'project', 'whatever-you-want-to-call-it'. 1.0 is a hellish rave chaos, though maybe not that bad ;)

The other two MP3s, README, and TODO, relate to the str_frag project much in the way README and TODO files in an open source software project do, as holders of instructions and requirements, and of notes for further development, respectively (for example).
